It’s the perfect blend of cozy and chic — neutral yet bright, airy yet grounded. The coastal grandmother aesthetic captures high-end style without the intimidation factor. It’s the kind of space where you’re drawn to sink into the sofa with a good book, where elegance meets everyday comfort, and where every detail invites you to relax and stay awhile.
Here’s a comprehensive guide on how you can capture the essence of coastal grandmother-styled interiors and replicate them within your living space, whether you’re buying a home in Jersey City, renting a home in Charleston, or an idyllic Norfolk, VA apartment.

We are in HGTV Magazine!
Big news! Check out the April issue of HGTV Magazine‘s article “Knobs, Knobs, Knobs!” featuring one of our botanical knobs! We are beyond excited to get recognition by one of our favorites in the industry and, quite simply, the best of the best. So when they asked if we would be interested in having a knob in their magazine of course we said YES and sent one off to NY for a photo shoot! And now there it is!
Each month we really look forward to the organization ideas HGTV magazine gives. But of course, each issue is also chock full of beautiful interior design ideas. I love their designs because they are meant for real people. So many designers focus on form without function. Why not treat yourself to a subscription?
American Heart Association – Go Red campaign!
We are honored to participate in the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign. We will be contributing hundreds of our boho stone coasters, in RED of course! Stay tuned for mass-production pics!
Takoma Park Folk Festival
Our first in-person event! We had such fun time at the Takoma park Folk Festival! We got to meet lots of our friends and show off all our products. It was a long day but it was fun and a great experience.
I learned a lot about what it takes to run a shop… everything from making inventory in advance, to designing displays, to setting up to take credit cards. For now I think I’ll stick to online sales! Oh but I did discover that cute aprons are also very practical!
TPFF is one of the best music festivals in the DC area and the best thing is that it’s free! There are several stages with live music all day long. Plus, there are lots of great crafters, artists, and food vendors too. It is great fun for the whole family. Check it out next year.
Boardwalkin’ for Pets – Worcester County Humane Society
We were honored to provide a gift basket for the Worcester County Humane Society, a small no-kill non-profit shelter near Ocean City MD. It was auctioned at the 19th annual Boardwalkin’ for Pets.
The basket has lots of coastal decor goodies – vintage candlesticks, color-infused coasters, painted seasheels, seascape driftwood, seashell art, and more!
